Transforming lives for the Glory of God.
(Romans 10:13-15, Philippians 2:9-11)
Faith Baptist Church's Mission
FBC exists to be a safe, vibrant family on mission together introducing people to a life - transforming encounter with Jesus.
Faith Baptist Church's Practice
* Gather on Sunday mornings as His sons and daughter.
* Grow as brothers and sisters in Missional Communities and Life Transformation Groups.
* Go as sent servants.
Our society has lost the art of community, although we all secretly long for it. At Faith Baptist Church, we believe that community matters. God did not create us to be islands of solitude, we were created for community with God and each other. We want everyone to experience this community with Jesus and with us and to experience the transforming grace and love of Jesus.

So What Makes Faith Baptist Church Different?
Well, let me tell you. At Faith Baptist Church, we are a family. We strive to be open and authentic with each other. We also seek to build relationships with people in our spheres of influence, at school, at work, and in our community. It is our belief that the church is not a building, but that we as believers are the church. That means we are to share God's love with everyone we meet, and to make disciples who reproduce disciples.
This is why we meet together not only on Sunday morning, but in small family groups that we call Missional Communities or Community Groups. These groups meet weekly or every other week to study, pray, and fellowship together. These groups also seek to minister to their neighbors. This way we can get into each other's lives and the lives of our neighbors.
We also encourage gender specific groups of 2-4 people who go deeper into each other's lives and hold each other accountable to live God's way and pray for those who need Jesus. We call these groups Life Transformation Groups.
What Should You Expect on Sunday Mornings?
You can expect a warm greeting! You don't have to worry about how you're dressed, just come as you are. No one will judge you. Most people wear anything from t-shirts and jeans to business casual. However, if you like dressing up a little, by all means feel free to do so!
We usually begin our services with Worship Songs led by our Worship Team or with a Worship Video that we do once a month to give our Worship Team a break. We typically stand, but if you are unable to stand or are more comfortable sitting, that's okay too.
Pastor Todd Harder is our Lead Pastor. You'll love Pastor Todd and his wife, Heidi. They are a loving, gracious, and compassionate couple. Pastor Todd's sermon style is to preach through a book of the Bible at time explaining the Scripture. He likes to ask questions of the congregation and engage them in dialogue. Currently, Pastor Todd is serving with the U.S.A.F. on deployment, so we will have several different speakers filling the pulpit.
We observe communion once a month. As a body, we practice open communion. That means if you have accepted Jesus as your Savior and Lord, you are welcome to take communion. Otherwise, just let the wafers and juice pass you by, there is no pressure.
To give or not to give. Each week we collect an offering. The offering is an opportunity for our members and regular attenders to contribute to the work of the church. As our guests, however, please do not feel obligated to give, but allow us to minister to you.
What About My Children? Is There Anything For Them?
I'm glad you asked! Many of our families prefer to keep their children with them in them during the Worship Service, so we have little activity bags for the youngsters, we also have a brief children's message before the sermon. Also, we have Children's Worship Bulletins for the children to keep them engaged in the sermon. However, our library room (to the left as you leave the sanctuary) is available to use as a cry room.
For youth, 6th -12th Grade, we have F.U.E.L. (Faith Used in Everyday Life) Youth Ministries which meets Wednesday nights from 5 - 7 p.m. Each meeting begins with a meal at 5 p.m. so you don't have to worry about feeding your youth beforehand.
We pray that you'll join us on Sunday morning and feel the love of Jesus through our people.
See you soon! Blessings!
